Distribution: Luzon (La Union to Laguna), Palawan; in lowland rain forests

Habit: fast growing, deciduous

Status: indigenous, not threatened

This tree was planted in 2012 near the bridge from the garage to the cottage. It is one of the trees that has already outgrown its name tag. We saw it flower for the first time in November 2020.
