  1. can you teach me how to properly plant the seeds of mabolo. I have 2 mabolo trees that keeps bearing so much fruit. But i dont know how to collect the seeds and how prepare them. Is it just getting the seeds from a ripe fruit and bury them to the soil of any kind ?. Hindi ako makabuhay. Iam so frustrated. I have more than 2k sq m of unused land that i want to plant tress.
Any special kind of soil, sun exposure, depth of the seed to bury, dry first the seed or not, before planting.
    I need po the basics.
Iam a practicing OBgynecologist, and love nature full of trees. Thats why i like to plant many trees now and watch them grow and appreciate their presence when i retire.
    thanks for taking your time.

    1. Hi Julia, mabolo seeds grow well as long as you plant them right away and don’t let them dry out. When you have ripe fruit, remove all the bits of fruit from the seeds by washing with water. Then plant right away! Best if you prepare your pots or containers before you harvest the seeds. Do not let the seeds dry out. Don’t plant so deep, just about the depth of a seed. Some of mine were too deep and I had to scrape back some of the soil. I also had to move some of the seeds up.Water and keep out in shade first. Keep the soil most. It will germinate in 5-8 days. Just make sure your soil is not so sticky and drains well when you water. Have fun!
