Uraria

Uraria lagopodioides

Family: Fabaceae

Common Name : unknown

Reference: Co’s Digital Flora of the Philippines

Origin: native to the Philippines, also found in other countries

  • This plant is from the Fabaceae family
  • Other members of that family are legumes, peas, and beans
  • I’m assuming that it’s good for the soil since plants in the legume family fix nitrogen into the soil
  • The flowers are pink when fresh, then turn purplish
  • It is found all over the farm, growing in the grass
