More new species for our Farm Bird List!
We didn’t get to spend much time at the farm in October. We had a lot of birding trips!
- Blue-breasted Quail Coturnix chinensis – seen by the caretaker only. The caretaker has very good eyesight and is quite reliable with bird ID. He was able to describe details of this sighting well.
- Philippine Scops Owl Otus megalotis heard only
- Philippine Nightjar Caprimulgus manillensis
- Brown Shrike Lanius Cristatus
