Sweet morning light.

We are now at 77 bird species at the farm! We have seen 3 new bird species since I posted my farm bird list. Tonji saw 2 Stripe-headed Rhabdornis while he was showing Romy Ocon the Father of Philippine bird photography around the farm. When I’m not at the farm, I’m out taking pictures of birds. I love taking pictures of birds, especially Philippine birds. It’s incredibly fun and challenging. It can also be incredibly frustrating when you don’t get the shot you’re after.

I cannot wait until the farm cottage is done! Then I can spend days at the farm, instead of just hours. Right now I feel like I am just grabbing glimpses of the farm. I walk around and get surprised that things are blooming and growing.
We had to clear an area for the paddock and found the Guava trees in bloom.
